New drawing tool "Linked Parallel Lines"

The new Linked Parallel Lines drawing tool is very similar to Trend Channel. It allows you to draw multiple parallel lines at customizable distances relative to the main line.

To draw Linked Parallel Lines
▪ Click on the Linked Parallel Lines icon on the Drawing toolbar:
▪ Click on the chart at the first reference point (A - starting point) of the line and hold the mouse button down.
▪ Move the mouse pointer to the second reference point of the line (B - end point) and release the mouse button.
▪ Move the mouse pointer away from the main line and click on the third reference point (C – parallel line) at the distance where you want to position the parallel line.
You can add / remove additional parallel lines at the customizable distance from the main line by using visibility points.

Note: The main line cannot be removed and moved, but can be used to pivot the whole group of lines by using both reference points (same behavior as Trend Channel).

Limiting number of characters of text columns in Price Page

For all text fields in price pages (e.g. columns Name, Exchange, Ticker), new option Show the first X character(s) can be used to limit the number of displayed characters for each particular field.
This is very useful when monitoring a price page that contains the same set of symbols for a longer period of time, such as indexes (e.g. DAX).

To activate this option, right-click on desired price page column and select Properties. In the Price Page Properties dialog, check the option Show the first X character(s) and adapt number of character(s) that should be visible.

Copy Price Page Studies into Excel via RTD

Starting with this version, all available TeleTrader studies that can be shown in a price page, including custom studies that you wrote by yourself, can be copied into Excel spreadsheet via RTD.

For each copied study, you can manually modify it by changing syntax of a study like: time region, compression etc.
Studies calculation supports all type of data like in Professional (Weekly, Monthly, Intraday, or Tick by Tick data), except for custom tick data (i.e. TickBars).
There are two ways you can add a study to spreadsheet: copy and paste from Price Page or entering the study syntax directly into excel column.

To copy a study to excel spreadsheet by copy and paste
▪ Select cells in a price page of a study that you want to copy
▪ Right-click in the price page and select Copy, or press CTRL + C key button.
▪ Launch Excel and open desired spreadsheet
▪ Click in the Excel spreadsheet where the price page data should be inserted
▪ Open context menu and select Paste, or press CTRL + V  key button.

To remove a study from excel spreadsheet
▪ Select study columns in excel table and press Delete key, or open context menu and select Delete.

Note: Currently, it is not possible to copy Price Page studies into Excel via DDE link.

Resolved Issue

The following bug has been fixed:

▫ Date stamp in data box and time scale did not always match in case of high chart data compression.
