When you choose a name for a program, parameter or variable, you have to conform to some simple rules:

▫       The name can only use letters, numbers or the underscore sign ( _ )

▫       The name must start with a letter

▫       You are not allowed to use one of the reserved words as a name (see list below)

Reserved Words (Keywords)

Every programming language uses some reserved words. These words have a special meaning in the language, which means that you are not allowed to use them as a name for your own variables, parameters or programs.
